Anyone who has attended a Traditional Solemn/Sung Vespers would wonder why it has to be revised. Well...it seems that this is the best a Novus Ordo Sung Vespers can get. I personally think that the Traditional Sung Vespers is more elaborate and dignified. One good thing I notice is the participation of the laity. Good organ accompaniment and good singing. The deacon should not incense the choir and congregation as though they are 'rows of altars'; three single swing (centre,left,right) on each side would do the job. And I hope they are generous enough to use good incense in the worship.
Yes, I enjoyed seeing the good participation of the laity as well. About the inscensing, I attend St. Mary of the Angel's parish once and they did the same thing too, in fact it was like an 'incensing procession'.
Yes, youtube is a wonderful source for such great videos. I thought it'll be good to post such videos here as others might have been over looked when searching youtube.
