Chair of St. Peter

(via Mysterium Fidei)

A thought many would be excited to heart his. The papal throne has been brought back by Pope Benedict XVI. It has not been used in over 40 years, and was replaced with a "chair." Maybe next the Pontiff will bring the Tiarra back! Wouldn't that be great? Liturgical Renewal is in action! Pax Tecum!

Comments: It is back after about a 34 year out of use. You might see a rare pix of Paul VI or John Paul II sitting there for a portrait but not for meetings, audiences, of Liturgy's. Benedict XVI has brought it back for these uses.

I have little hope of His Holiness bringing back the tiara since it was replaced with a mitre in the papal crest.
