Now Reading: The Mystery of the Incarnation

(St. Paul's) "Divided into 3 parts: The Mystery of the Incarnation, The Third Millennium- A Challenge and Celebrating the Incarnation. The late Cardinal Basil Hume reflects on the meaning of the Incarnation and its meaning for our lives and for society (months before his death). He helps us see that it is an event that should be at the center of our millennium celebrations, and encourages us to fix our eyes on Christ, the light of the world."

A book of deep simplicity and prayerfullness that will definately speak to all Catholics, especially those on the margins of faith. This Christmas season is definately a good time to pick up this book.

I'm an independent and conservative person who has a consistently positive demeanor. I'm easy to get along with as long as you are not intensely socially awkward... Though I'm mostly introverted unless I am in a comfortable crowd, I can open up very quickly to those who care to strike a conversation. My Catholic faith plays a big part in the playing fields of my life. Reserved yet spontaneous, optimistic yet realistic, serious yet goofy, that's me- or at least that's what I think!
