Thank you guys.
MB, it was rather simple, the altar table is actually a study desk which I had converted. Therefore there's a drawer under the parament which I use to store candles, paraments, inscense, etc... I am thinking of getting a larger icon for the wall.

Excellent. I have been building 'home altars' since I was 14 and this is a fine example. At its height, mine had six candles, an ivory crucifix, a portable altar stone and an icon with a hanging olive oil lamp.
Now that I am a friar, I have a simpler set-up...
God bless and keep up the good work on your blog.

Thank you Friar Lew.
I'm currently looking for a new place... When that happens, I plan to build to more elaborate one with a step- for the candles, flowers and crucifix-, a votive lamp, and a larger icon for the backdrop.
