Church Maintenance
For the safety of parishioners and visitors, the rector has commissioned the restoration and reenforcement of all the stain glasses in the Church.
Early this Monday, 5 levels of scaffolding was erected at nave's south entrance. Work was swiftly completed yesterday and the structure will be wheeled into the sanctuary on Thursday.
Braving the heights, this blogger scaled the sacfforlding to present you the following photos:
Rector Fr. Michael Teo spent $1000 to procure this second-hand scaffolding
Please say the following prayer for us:
O my God, I offer Thee the work of restoration of Thy holy Church which have already begun for Thy love. Most holy Virgin, take all who are working on the restoration of the Church under Thy protection. St. Joseph, pray for us. Amen.

Happy National Day!
Let us pray for our nation:
Lord God of Heaven, who has so lavishly blessed this land, make us, thy people, to be humble. Keep us ever aware that the good things we enjoy have come from thee, that hour didst lend them to us. Impress upon our smugness the knowledge that we are not owners, but stewards. Remind us, lest we become filled with conceit, that one day a reckoning will be required of us. Sanctify our love of country, that our boasting may be turned to humility and our pride into a ministry to people everywhere. Help us to make this God's own country, by living like God's own people. Amen.
Opening prayer of National Day Mass:
God our Father, we are the work of your designs. Your will is to gather all of us as one family in yourself. Open us to your love and life given for free as a gift. May we learn from you and your Son to give ourselves totally and freely to working for justice and equlity for our brothers and sisters. Grant that we may also contribute our share in building up a just and united society based on your commandments and the precepts of your Holy Church. We make this prayer through Jesus Christ... Amen.

Salisbury Cathedral- Miserere Mei Deus
This video is proof that the Anglicans have better liturgies than the Roman Church. It is both a pity and crying shame considering what happens in the Holy Sacrifice of the Catholic Mass. Shouldn't something be done to make it more fitting for the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords?

Rectifications: Mission Statement
'Apostolic Tradition' is part of the Deposit of Faith or 'Divine Tradition'.
Specifically, Divine Tradition is formed by the summation of Dominical Tradition and Apostolic Tradition. In short, Dominical Tradition consists of that which was given directly by Our Lord while on earth, while Apostolic Tradition consists of that which the apostles passed on under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. Prime examples of which are the Magisterium of the Church and the sacraments, since they were established by Jesus Christ and passed on and will be passed on until the end of time.
A new addition would be 'Ecclesiastical Tradition'. Ecclesiastical Tradition forms the heritage and patrimony of the work of previous generations graciously passed on by the Church to subsequent generations for their benefit.
The statement has been rectified to "...through: Fidelity to Divine & Ecclesiastical Traditions...".

The Greatest Man in History
Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master.Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.
Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer.
He had no army, yet kings feared Him.
He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.
He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
I feel honored to serve such a Leader who loves us!
