Intentions for the week (04/05-11/05)
Please offer your prayers for the following intentions:- For more Catholics to provide feedback on the proposed penal code amendments concerning the 'liberalisation' of homosexual activities. (The feedback site is www.reach.gov.sg . Scroll down to "Something To SAY?" and click on "Email Us today")
- For Christine who celebrated her birthday today- may she always be filled with the Holy Spirit and be a testimony for the Lord's glory.
- For the preservation of the traditional 'biblical family' life.
- For peace in Dafur, Sudan, may the Prince of Peace grant peace to the people of Dafur.
Weekly Intentions:
- For an increase of vocations to the priesthood and religious life- may the Holy Spirit's gentle invitation be heard in many hearts.
- For the repose of the soul of those who have died in tragic accidents- may the Lord comfort their loved ones and deliver the souls of the departed to the eternal paradise.
- For an end to abortion- may more people be aware of the sanctity of life.
- For the schismatics and herectics- that our Lord would rescue them from all their errors, and recall them to their holy Mother, the Catholic and Apostolic Church.
- For the poor souls in purgatory- especially those who have no one to pray for them.
- For the conversion of sinners- that the Holy Spirit may illuminate their hearts and souls to see the light of the Risen Christ.
Lord, hear the prayers of your faithful and in your mercy and love, hear and answer them. For the Glory of your name. Amen. Mother, pray for and and with us; may we be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Intentions for the Week:
Please offer your prayers for the following intentions:- For an increase of vocations to the priesthood and religious life- that this Sunday (Vocation Sunday), many young men and women may be open to the call of God in their lives.
- For those who are discerning a vocation to the priesthood and religious life- that the Holy Spirit may always pilot their discernment. Lift especially these bloggers: Nicholas, Patrick and his brother, all the contributors to The Holy Vocations Blog, and myself.
- For Seminarians- may they persevere in their studies to be orthodox ministers of the words and holy dispensers of the Sacraments. Lift Seminarian Matthew who was accepted on 24th April '07 (recently!).
- For the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI- may the Holy Spirit continue to lead and guide him in his task of restoring the Church of Jesus Christ.
- For the repose of the soul of those who have died in tragic accidents- may the Lord confort their loved ones and deliver the souls of the departed to the eternal paradise. Lift up Debra Koh who was swept away by strong currents (5000 meters).
- For an end to abortion- that more Catholics may take part in pro-life activities.
- For the liberialisation of the Classice rite of Mass- that every Catholic may experience the ancient liturgy of the Roman Catholic Church; which belongs to them by birth right.
- For the schismatics and herectics (Protestants)- that our Lord would rescue them from all their errors, and recall them to their holy Mother, the Catholic and Apostolic Church.
- For the poor souls in purgatory- who have no one to pray for them.
- For the conversion of sinners- that the Holy Spirit may illuminate their hearts and souls to see the light of the Risen Christ. Lift Patrick's two sisters; and their husband and boyfriend respectively.
- For more Catholics to provide feedback on the proposed penal code amendments concerning the 'liberalisation' of homosexual activities.
Lord, hear the prayers of your faithful and in your mercy and love, hear and answer them. For the Glory of thy name. Amen.

Please pray for...
Br. F. is on a very tight academic syllabus. All his academic subjects are Latin, Hebrew, Philosophy, Anthropology, etc... all very heavy subjects.
Please keep him, as well as all other Seminarians in your prayers.
Prayer for Seminarians:
O Lord Jesus Christ, great High Priest, I pray that You call many worthy souls to Your holy priesthood. Enlighten the Bishop in the choice of candidates, the Spiritual Director in molding them, and the professors in instructing them. Lead the seminarians daily in Your unerring footsteps; so that they may become priests who are models of purity, possessors of wisdom and heroes of sacrifice; steeped in humility and aflame with love for God and man; apostles of Your glory and sanctifiers of souls. Amen. Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for us.

Prayers Needed
Please keep me in your prayers and/or offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for me. Don't worry about the intention. The Good Lord knows clearly what is in my heart of hearts.
Your prayers are greatly appreciated.
God Bless.
